I ran (well, walked mostly) my first 5K last weekend in Lawrence, KS! I wasn't planning on doing the run but when my sister-in-law called the night before the race and said there were two spaces open in her group and asked if Peter and I wanted them, we were like, 'why not?'. It ended up being a lot of fun but I was sore the next day! Next time I do a 5K I am going to prepare for it!
